04 — Basemap Tests

Basemap selector, labels/shaded toggle, projection-aware basemap switching, and useAsBasemap layer property. Use the buttons below each map to dynamically change basemap options via the API.

Map 1 — Basemap Selector + Labels/Shaded Toggle (LCC)

Use the basemap selector (navbar) to cycle through types. Use the buttons to toggle labels and shading dynamically.

Map 2 — Basemap in Web Mercator (EPSG:3857)

Verify the same basemap types render correctly in WM. Switch projection on Map 1 and compare.

Map 3 — Circumpolar (EPSG:3573) with useAsBasemap: true

EPSG:3573 has no default basemaps. This map uses a WMTS layer with useAsBasemap: true as the basemap.
